Race Car's Hood Flies Off In The Middle Of A Race

Many race tracks around the country have days where people in normal, or their own upgraded cars, can be used on the track in races or in straight away quarter-mile races. This video is from inside a car as it gets started in a race. We can see him get into the race and start to speed up. Apparently, he did not strap his hood down or lock it. As he starts to pick up speed, the hood suddenly pops up and flies off of the car. The guy throws his hands up in frustration and probably dismay at his foolish mistake.
