Portugal celebrates 50 years of democracy

Portugal marked the half century milestone on Thursday (April 25) with a military ceremony in capital Lisbon and street parties expected later on in the day. The country's "Carnation Revolution" saw the toppling of the longest fascist dictatorship in Europe.
