Did you know these same Nazis had hardly any supervision and frequently took over the towns they were POWs in? This was with the consent of the US Military…hard to believe, but true if you don’t know our actual history.

James’ and his family were in the area surrounding the Tulelake Segregation Facility where America brought in about 1000 German & Italian Nazi POW’s. This has been completely whitewashed from all the official records. You literally cannot find the word Nazi mentioned in all the documents even though everyone knows…that’s what they were.

Full Disclosure: James Pettigrew was the man presented as my mother’s father growing up.

This makes me wonder why I never heard a single story about my mother being in a town full of Nazi POWs…not from her or my grandparents. This is no surprise…even the internet removes the word “Nazi” when describing the prisoners…almost like a deliberate whitewashing of history.
