Mass Grave Reports ‘Extremely Troubling’: UN Spokesperson | Dawn News English
The United Nations expressed deep concern over reports of a mass grave discovered in Gaza, calling for a thorough and independent investigation into the disturbing findings.

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric highlighted the urgent need for a ceasefire to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza, emphasizing the importance of granting humanitarian workers greater access and ensuring the safety of hospitals and the release of hostages.

The grave containing at least 283 bodies was unearthed at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis after Israeli forces withdrew from the city in early April following a months-long ground offensive.

Israel launched the offensive in response to a Hamas attack last October, claiming numerous casualties. However, recent revelations suggest that many of those killed were actually victims of Israeli military actions.
