According to the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (2021) automakers in the United States will be forced to include an automobile "kill switch" starting in 2026. The bill even includes provisions for a climate-based mileage carbon tax, automated speed caps, and gives bureaucrats the ability to place limitations on where you can and can't drive. One of the biggest drivers of ingenuity that helped to fuel the growth of cities during the Industrial Revolution was the economic system of free enterprise and private ownership. But now it seems we've lost our grip. And if we continue down this road, it could be a dead end... for everyone.

The economic system of free enterprise and private ownership without government interference, the one that produced the Industrial Revolution in the United States, is yet again being manipulated to serve the interests of those seeking more control. Section 24220 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, a Bipartisan effort by the way, seeks to curtail the freedom of driving the open road by "limiting vehicle operation" and leaving this decision in the hands of bureaucrats. In less than two
years every American car must spy on the driver to determine whether or not the individual in the driver's seat is fit to do so, with automakers enabling a "kill switch". Already car makers sell your data, intercept calls and text messages, and place video cameras in and out of most vehicles. But this is a bit different. The Biden bill includes a carbon tax based on the mileage you drive and allows
cars to have a speed button on the dash that, when pressed, will let you speed for up to 15 seconds. So, again we see that it's not enough for the federal government to know every thought and action, they have to limit our physical movement and make us pay for it adding insult to potentially deadly injury. What happens when we go down this road? How far will they take it? When this happens you can be sure that the next target will be the purchase of firearms and the limiting of free speech by not allowing
you drive to political rallies or even protests. And if anyone believes this effort is only about money,
ingenuity, or public safety you're in for the ride of your life.
