A state of emergency has been introduced in three regions of Kyrgyzstan due to mudflows.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 40 mudflows were recorded in Kyrgyzstan over three days. Since April 20, amid incessant rains, they have covered dozens of settlements in the Talas, Jalal-Abad and Osh regions.
In the village of Toguz-Bulak, Osh region, a mud flow demolished a car in which there were a man, two women and a child. Local residents were able to save the women and child, but the driver of the car was carried away by the stream. Later it became known that he died.
Climate is changing due to 12,000 year cycle.
