Hallo, this is Hans the Dutch guy with Much Dutch, and this time we will see how to pronounce in a regular Dutch accent the famous Dutch beer Heineken.

The way us Dutchies say it is Heineken.

Heineken.

There is very slight emphasis on the first syllable: HEI-ne-ken.

HEI-NE-KEN.

For many English speakers the EI sound is a bit tricky, but keep trying: EI, Heineke. You also hear me omitting the last N at the eind of the word. This is common.

Heineken.
