OVERKILL

The United States has been involved in 469 military interventions since it began as a nation. Half of these have occurred in the last 30 years. These proxy wars are the result of our involvement abroad in foreign conflicts due to the United States funding and arming sides.

This is made possible by the privatizing of national defense with the international selling of military weaponry becoming one of the most lucrative business dealings the United States has ever been involved in.

These defense companies lobbying Congress seek to maintain their profits by keeping the United States perpetually involved in a series of never ending wars. These donations are made possible through careful legalities where a private corporation has free speech just the same as individual citizens and can pursue bills to be put on the voting floor for their benefit.

By being informed and politically active we can focus on bringing an end to insider trading and ending the selling of weapons abroad to the forefront of our elections in helping to stifle the corruption inherent in our government.
