Today at Death Toll Racing we....

-Remove our new cross member
-Tear down and check a NP208 for problems
-Install a new SYE kit from Tom Wood's
-Re install the transfer case
-Get yelled at by Murder Bob and potentially fired.
-General shop talk.

NP208 are very simple to rebuild. Very few things to watch out for and no special tools required.

Tools I used to rebuild this
-1 1/8 socket
-15mm socket
-9/16 socket
-10mm socket
-9/16 wrench
-Snap ring pliers
-Flat (std) screw driver (or pry tool similar)
-need nose pliers
-Petroleum jelly
-Impact gun (helpful on front output shaft nut)
-Rubber mallet

Many of topics today apply to most New Process transfer cases and even others.
