Alan Ritchson DESTROYS The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare!

In a weekend of soft competition, a high profile film with an ensemble cast and a big name director would have easily won the day, but it didn't even land on the podium.

Guy Ritchie's The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare finished 4th for the weekend, only making $9 Million domestically. It's reviewing well enough and considering A24's Civil War took the top spot with $11.1 Million, this has to be seen as a massive failure. Henry Cavill is literally the most unlucky man in Entertainment.

Perhaps the divisive rhetoric of star Alan Ritchson dissuaded audiences from taking a flyer on the action film. We don't know the impact of his words, but it certainly didn't help.
