Mt. Fuji (Fujisan) is the tallest mountain in Japan. Considered sacred by the Ainu people, the indigenous inhabitants of ancient Japan, Mt. Fuji's name may derive from Fuchi, the Ainu god of fire and the hearth. Fronting the Mt. Fuji is a roller coaster ride.
