Treasures New & Old - #20 Judgement begins.....(4-21-2024)

Treasures, both from the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
Matthew 13:52 Ampc: He said to them, Therefore every teacher and interpreter of the Sacred Writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new and [treasure that is] old [the fresh and the familiar].

(1 Peter 4:17-18, Ezekiel 9:3-6, Amos 3:6-7) For the time has come for judgement to begin at the house of God.... (Deuteronomy 17:14-20) The future Kings of Israel shall not multiply gold, wives, or horses. Solomon was guilty of all three, (1 Kings 10-11) and the kingdom was divided. (2 Chronicles 12) Rehoboam was king of Judah after the division and he did evil too, thus God send King Shishak out of Egypt to remove all the treasures out of the Temple and the kings house. Rehoboam substituted bronze for gold shields in God's house. Many of the Church(s) have done the very same thing, and today the Lord is bringing judgement on the Church.
