Job 20:12-14 New King James Version
12 “Though evil is sweet in his mouth, And he hides it under his tongue,
13 Though he spares it and does not forsake it, But still keeps it in his [a]mouth,
14 Yet his food in his stomach turns sour; It becomes cobra venom within him.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I don't know how to describe this guys, but there's something about this morning’s scripture that got me to really thinking about how temptation/sin can be and is so enticing and sweet in the moment we embrace it and allow whatever it is to enter our lives, but soon after, it truly does leave that “sour taste” in our spiritual mouths. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional are so very thought provoking to me, and I’d like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and i pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

When has temptation led to bitter consequences for you?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will open your eyes to see how important it is to humble yourself before God, Seek His strength to resist the temptations that Satan puts in your path, so that he will have no choice but to flee from you. This way, you won't have to experience the bitterness, the regret, the travesty of having given in to temptation. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn for yourself how you can avoid long term consequences for short term pleasure! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and i pray that it will enable you to seek God and his strength to resist Satan’s temptations in your life.

How can you remain faithful to God?

I pray tonight that whatever temptation, lure, seduction, attractive little carrot, or wonderful little “sweet thing” that Satan is putting in front of you, that you will follow what James 4:7 states in humbling yourself before God, resisting the devil, so that he will have no choice but to flee from you. I pray that when you are tempted to give in to whatever sin Satan wants you to commit, that you will think about the long term consequences that can result from giving in to that sin, and that you will choose to walk away from it. Don't let the temporary sweetness of temptation leave a sour taste in your mouth spiritually, that you'll regret!

UNTIL MONDAY EVERYONE:

HAVE A SERENELY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
