Last week LaRouchePAC presented Part 1 of Lyndon LaRouche’s five-part educational series on the science of physical economy. The series was developed and presented by LaRouche in 1984, when he was a candidate for President of the United States.

At that time, the U.S. was facing the serious threat of global warfare and economic ruin, as effects of the financial crisis brought on by the collapse of the Bretton Woods system. Inflation was rampant, production was collapsing, and the monetarist policies that we now know as globalism and financialization were beginning to take hold.

As a leading economist who had forecast the economic and political crisis that was then unfolding, LaRouche knew that the American people and their policy-makers must radically change their concept of economics, from monetarism to the science of physical economy. Otherwise, the United States and the world could very easily slip into war and depression. Hence, the production of this ground-breaking class series.

Part 1 of this series, which focused on the concept of potential relative population density can be found below.

In Part 2, LaRouche presents the scientific basis for a functioning economy that is based on technological progress, and the conditions
that must be met to avoid physical collapse.

It is highly recommended that prior to the class, you download the charts used by LaRouche in Part 2.
