Judge Napolitano’s questions asked to Alastair Crooke.

‘Does Benjamin Netanyahu need a war against Iran for his own personal political survival?’

‘I understand that as we speak, the Israelis have such a sense of defeat that Ben Gurion Airport itself is defeated, and no one wants to go there today.’

‘Why attack Iran?’

‘How badly or how poorly did the Iranian missiles attack IDF assets?’

‘The US and UK assets that helped shoot down the missiles and drones: were they in Israel or did they come from navy ships stationed near by?’

‘The G7 leaders met by teleconference; their spokespersons unanimously said to Prime Minister Netanyahu, ‘Do not retaliate again enough of this.’

‘Do you think he’ll abide by that, or does he have an invested interest in escalating, not withstanding what the Iranians succeeded in doing, and learned about Israeli defences?’

‘You recently gave a brilliant and gifted address in Saint Petersburg, Russia: I would like to ask you one or two questions before we conclude:’

‘What was the attitude, as you were able to perceive it, of the Russian people, whether they be trade unions, government officials, or young professionals, about the wish of the United States to use violence against Russia and the anger of American government officials towards their counterparts in Russia?’

‘Is the United States of America today a republic or an empire?’

Last question: ‘if Israel attacks Iran, would Russia get involved? Would President Vladimir Putin be destroyed?’

A couple of answered questions Alastair Crooke gave for the record in history.

‘Israeli air defences were not able to stop the ballistic missiles; they know that. They will go on with the propaganda, and the West is pushing this propaganda very strongly in order to try and deter Netanyahu from making a strike against Iran in retaliation.’

The fork in the road.

Crooke: There is really not much in between those two; there will be, either between the river and the sea, everyone having the same rights and the same position and being treated equally. Or else we go to something much bigger, but that’s where we’re coming to this fork in the road. We have to wait and see how it’s going to play out.

‘Whenever you say fork in the road, I am reminded of a famous philosopher who was also a baseball player by the name of Yogi Berra, who used to say, ‘When you come to a fork in the road, take it.’
