#3 It is only an illusory appearance due to the Substratum; Consciousness

“So, everything has this apparent reality – appears as real – because the nature or the Substratum is real - which is Consciousness.

So, the wave appears real in the ocean because the water is real. There is no such thing as a wave. The nature of the wave in the ocean, is not ‘wave-ness’ in inverted commas. It is water. But we are superimposing in the wave. Instead of saying that, ‘This is water,’ we say, ‘This is a wave.’ We are superimposing this name, form or label.

And the same is with whatever you see, all over the apparent universe, with the apparent beings and the apparent objects and the apparent events. It is only an illusory appearance due to the Substratum; Consciousness.

Just like there is a Substratum; Consciousness in the dream, and everything appears real, the same with the big dream.”
