Hardly using the Ancient Axe, Burm gets Dannawthen onto the ground and gouges out that monster's eyes. Surprisingly, Dannawthen suddenly stops fighting as Burn digs his fingers deeper and deeper to yank such electric blue free. But Burn doesn't really care why that monster is accepting its fate. He has his prize, that's all that matters as the first eye in his palm gets squished immediately. He quickly goes for the second. But after he takes that one out, Burn hesitates. The last thing Erus told Burn was that if he kept one eye intact, he could use it to know exactly where the other three original Corners of Midnight are located. As Kathryn finishes freeing the trapped Travelers from their cages, Burn holds the last eye up as Dannawthens body becomes only blue electricity swirling around Burns hands and the sky above.
