A Earthbound Clone, but surprise. Its good.

Jokes aside I always go into games with no expectations, imagine to my surprise when I start playing the game and it had been 2 hours and I was still playing the game.

Indie Devs are an interesting thing in gaming. They are not like triple A game studios who shell out high quality graphics and a story that was repeated over and over again. Instead they do what they think can create a game within their means. For example is that new FF7 Remake coming out. Indie devs depending on their size could make a game like that (see hello games for an example). Or they can create a long game with a story made up in their head's and produced within the best of their means. Atlas Wept is a great example of this. I can tell the creator would use all of their means to their advantage and created a story and environment that felt dystopian yet on the surface was just a simple and fun RPG. The pixel art, the combat, the enemies art, the protagonists. All felt super happy and nice. Then the second part came, it became very bright and felt very dystopian. It kinda reminds me of the book Anthem by Ayn Rand where all of the society was all fun and joy, but under the surface was just a dark story and background.

For now on I will be using my Forgotten Games Rating I use for these games so you can get a decent opinion of games I play. This does not mean the game is forgotten it is just a rating.

Graphics 4/5 Its, pixel art, but very detailed pixel art.
Playability 5/5 You can play on Keyboard or Controller and probably more. I played on controller and it felt very smooth to operate with how the movement and the combat were.
Music 4/5 The music fits within the places that they are situated it. My personal favorite has to be the snow biomes.
Difficulty 5/5 The difficulty can be changed, however for the intended difficulty, I found myself enjoying the game without having to grind my characters.
Personal 4/5 I definitely recommend this game if you are a RPG fan or enjoy a good story.
