Google terminates 28 employees after multi-city protests

Google fired 28 employees following protests over labor conditions and the company’s contract to provide cloud computing services to the Israeli government and military.

The protests included sit-ins at Google offices in New York and Sunnyvale, California, where some workers were arrested.

The fired employees were found to be involved in the protests.

The demonstrations were organized by the “No Tech For Apartheid” group, opposing Project Nimbus, a contract with the Israeli government, CNBC reported.
