The American alligator is a prehistoric beast left over from a long forgotten time. Measuring up to 15 feet long and weighing in at over 500lbs, this apex predator is at the top of it's food chain.
Watch as this massive alligator demonstrates it's impressive speed in the water, propelling itself forward with lightning speed. The alligator's tail typically comprises over half of an alligator's length and is solid muscle.
