Step back in time to 1898 and witness a poignant moment in history with this black and white film. Captured at Camp Wikoff, the aftermath of the Cuban Campaign is starkly portrayed as only a fraction of the original thousand men are able to shoulder their rifles for the Biograph camera. With many companies reduced to just seven or eight men, the entire regiment is depicted in a somber and depleted state. Despite the sadness of the scene, the picture is hailed as remarkably fine in every respect, offering a glimpse into the realities of war.
