Israeli missile hits Iran, US officials say | BBC News

An Israeli missile has hit Iran, US officials have told the BBC's partner station CBS News.

Iranian state media cited unconfirmed reports ofexplosions being heard around the central city ofIsfahan, saying three drones were destroyed after thecountry's air defence systems were activated.

Iran has been on high alert after Israel said it wouldrespond to the more than 300 Iranian missiles anddrones fired at Israel on Saturday night.
