Concerned parents rushed out of a Melbourne, Australia mall as a violent confrontation between youths armed with machetes erupted.

Eyewitnesses reported that the participants, described as teenagers and of Sudanese descent, brandished various weapons at Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton's north-west including knives, and even hurled chairs during the altercation.

One mother recounted her harrowing experience, revealing she and her children hastily left upon seeing a man wielding a machete. Taking to social media, she expressed her shock and disgust, especially in light of the recent tragic stabbing incident at Westfield Bondi Junction.

Expressing her frustration, she wrote, "After what happened in Bondi, one would expect these young individuals to reflect. Explaining to my five-year-old why we had to flee the mall was heartbreaking."

She called for enhanced security measures at Woodgrove and stricter penalties for such acts of violence, lamenting the disregard for human life.

Another shopper shared her ordeal, mentioning she sought refuge in the baby changing rooms along with her three children and other terrified mothers. She wrote on Facebook about the incident involving a teen and a machete near the play area close to the parents' rooms, describing her six-year-old's fear upon witnessing the weapon.

A third witness described how the situation escalated when someone brandished a large knife in the food court, leading people to throw objects at him. Three individuals were seen leaving with injuries, one with a head wound.

Victoria Police initiated an inquiry after discovering a 15-year-old boy injured on-site, subsequently transporting him to the hospital. Two boys, aged 15 and 16, from Melton South and Harkness respectively, were arrested on Tuesday for questioning.

The 16-year-old faces charges including affray, possession of a prohibited weapon, and criminal intent and is expected to appear in a juvenile court. The 15-year-old will also be charged with affray and weapon-related offenses and will be presented to a children's court.

The injured boy will be interviewed post-hospitalization.

Meanwhile, Breitbart.com reports that Australia's left-leaning federal government is widening the door for mass immigration from Sudan and other counter-culture countries.
