Two alleged spies suspected of planning to sabotageGerman military aid for Ukraine have been arrested inthe southern German state of Bavaria.

The two men, described as dual German-Russiannationals, were detained in Bayreuth on suspicion ofspying for Russia, prosecutors say.

Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said authorities hadprevented "possible explosive attacks".

The Russian ambassador has been summoned by the foreign ministry in Berlin.
