Potato Croquettes Recipe | Easy Snack Recipe

Ingredients for potato croquettes:
4 boiled potatoes
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp white pepper powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
All-purpose flour ( for coating )
2 beaten eggs
Bread crumbs
Method:
1. Mash the boiled potatoes in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
2. Add butter, milk and mix well.
3. Add white pepper powder, chaat masala, garlic powder, salt and mix until well combined.
4. Transfer the potato mixture to a piping bag and snip off the end of the piping bag.
5. Line a tray with plastic wrap.
6. Pipe the potato mixture onto the plastic wrap, forming logs. Leave some space between each log.
7. Cover the tray with another layer of plastic wrap.
8. Place the tray in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill and firm up the logs.
9. Remove the chilled potato logs from the refrigerator and cut them into chunks of desired size using a sharp knife.
10. Set up three shallow bowls or plates. Place the flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in the third.
11. Roll each croquette first in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, ensuring it's well coated. Finally, coat it evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
12. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Fry the croquettes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy.
13. Once fried, remove the croquettes from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
14. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
