CBDC update 2023 (Central Bank Digital Currency)

In this video I review the pros and cons of a CBDC Dollar and provide a basic update of where CBDCs stand at the end of 2023, including the adoption of pilot programs in China, India, Russia, Japan, and the European Union, and provide an update on the potential for a CBDC in the United States. I also discuss the development of multi-CBDC platforms by SWIFT and mBridge, the latter developed by the BRICS countries.
