A year ago I picked up on this when Blair went on Joe Rogan Episode # 1746
Joe Says, “The powerful experience of a transcendent psychedelic moment it’s not like anything else you experience in life, other than maybe a near death experience.” But is that true, or is it that in our modern search for the transcendent we limit ourselves to the material world and it's substances? What if there was another way to connect to God and truly be transformed?

This is my own personal introduction into a conversation that is ongoing and deserves a lot of time and attention. As a person in ministry I want to be clear that I am not speaking on behalf of any organization or ministry. I chose to begin my part in the conversation by highlighting common ground through which I believe meaningful dialogue can take place. There are other elements to this conversation that do need attention and I am not confident an online platform such as this is the best place for those parts of the conversation. I will follow up this podcast with my usual live stream where we can unpack as much as time, and platform restrictions, will allow. Please listen to the whole podcast before assuming my stance with regards to this conversation and I look forward to engaging with your part in the conversation.

Scripture: Romans 8, Romans 12, Ephesians 5:28-33, 2 Corinthians 5:17

If you have no regrets in life then you will not find what you are looking for in a church. We are a people who mourn our self-inflicted trauma, and the trauma we suffer from the circumstances of life. We have a deep desire for a transformed life, and a transformed world. We also have a very real hope that this transformation is possible because we see it in our lives and in the lives of our church communities.

The Table of Jesus post:
All are welcome at this Table, but it is Jesus’ Table. We don't conflate welcome with affirmation. We don’t come with our demands. We don’t leave unchanged.
