Patrick Allard, the owner of a renovation company in Winnipeg, was deemed essential early in the pandemic. He felt compelled to speak up for others who had not been so lucky and whose lives and livelihoods were impacted by the mandates and lockdowns, and he describes exactly what the act of speaking out in public against the government narrative cost him.
