Brent Sadler urges FBI to investigate possible cyber-attack behind Baltimore bridge collapse

Heritage Foundation Senior Fellow and former Pentagon official Brent Sadler says the FBI needs to investigate whether a cybersecurity attack caused a shipping vessel to crash into the Francis Scott Key Bridge on March 26. “It doesn’t mean that it is the cause but [it], at the very least, needs to be seriously looked at,” Sadler says, noting that a month before the incident, the White House issued new guidance about Chinese cranes with cyber-attack vectors.
