JT reclaimed Her Role As The Man In The Relationship

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert electrified the Coachella crowd as they vogued across the stage. City Girl, JT, came to their defense against online haters.
Uzi performed for the first weekend at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
The entertainer, who also goes by the moniker Leslie Chow, didn’t just do their signature “Just Wanna Rock” dance, they hit the audience with something new.
Adorning fire engine red hair and a white long-sleeved collar shirt, Uzi engaged in a full-out vogue session. They duck-walked across the stage to the crowd’s enjoyment. The City Girl praised Uzi’s performance writing, “UZI KILLED IT! BIG STARRRR!!!! CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!!!!!”
Voguing is a dance that imitates the poses hit by models in fashion magazines and on the runway. It was created by African-American and Latino members of the LGBTQ community that created an underground subculture. It’s a modern house dance that originated in the 80s. It stems from the Harlem ballroom scene in the 1960s. Moreover, it is linked to Willaim Dorsey Swann, an enslaved man who hosted 19th-century drag balls.
The legendary singer Madonna highlighted the dance and culture in her video for her 1990 hit song, ‘Vogue.’ The dance was also spotlighted in the documentary Paris is Burning the same year.
