Ventusky, a weather monitoring application, displayed this unusual phenomenon, sparking a frenzy of theories from alien activity to mythical sea creatures.

Despite the sensational claims, Ventusky clarified that the anomaly was a result of a model error and not an actual occurrence, Fox News has reported.
