Greene threat to oust Speaker Johnson has Senate Republicans anxious

Some Republicans are experiencing a sense of déjà vu from the previous episode, which disrupted planned legislative work, including government funding.

Johnson’s handling of government funding and his plan to advance a Ukraine aid bill have drawn criticism from hardline conservatives like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Although Greene has not initiated a vote to remove Johnson, some believe it’s inevitable, The Hill has reported.
