Bishop targeted in fresh Sydney stabbing attack

Sydney has suffered another horrific stabbing attack, this time of a bishop and several of his congregation. The attack at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, Sydney shocked many as Bishop Mari Emmanuel and several worshippers were attacked by a knife-wielding man dressed in black. Video of the attack shows the unidentified knifeman walking up to the bishop as he was delivering a sermon, and then stabbing him several times as the congregation screamed in terror, rushing to help. Early reports indicate that at least three others were also stabbed during the attack.

The attack occurred shortly after another tragic stabbing event at the Westfield Bondi Junction mall, where six people lost their lives before the assailant was shot dead by police.
