2 dead bodies recovered amid investigation into missing Kansas moms

Authorities in rural Texas discovered two deceased individuals as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of two mothers from Kansas, who went missing in Oklahoma.

The bodies will undergo examination by the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner to determine identity and cause of death.

The missing women, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, from Hugoton, Kansas, were last seen on March 30, driving in Oklahoma to pick up Butler’s children for a birthday celebration in Kansas.

Their abandoned vehicle was later found in rural Oklahoma near the Kansas border, ABC News has reported.
