Fallout BREAKS the Franchise CURSE Just Like House of the Dragon Did!

Amazon's Fallout Series is a massive hit! The red flags headed into the show turned out to be superfluous to the quality of the writing and fans are flocking to the franchise for the first time in a long time.

House of the Dragon managed to do something similar in 2022 when Season 1 released. Having all the baggage left over from Season 8 of Game of Thrones and the franchise being weighed down by George R.R. Martin outright refusing to finish the books, it had an uphill battle to generate interest in the series. Coupled with cringey, girl-boss marketing and all the signs of a flop were there. But the show came out and it was good. Every subsequent week was anticipated and now Season 2 is the most anticipated release on Warner Bros. calendar.

These are examples that while the generalizations are likely true, a few exceptions can sneak through a provide hope for better entertainment in the long term from big budget productions.
