Wisdom - Part 25

The lesson taught on April 14, 2024 was part 25 of the “Wisdom” study. Wayne reviewed what we had learned from the previous lesson by reminding us of the structure and overview of Proverbs. If you keep the context of this wisdom that it is teaching, you find some of the wisdom is given to Solomon and some is from Solomon. Some say that the bible is against women. That is wrong. For example, in the context of a nation asked not to follow false gods or idolatry, being affected by the whore to see what she is advertising and being led astray by the strange woman after the mind is disconnected from the spirit of God by excess wine, is what God is against. In this lesson, we look at Proverbs 24 and see personal character being given for Solomon and Princes. In Proverbs 24: 3 it says “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:”. Well, that is reflecting what strength we will receive if we understand right division. In the current dispensation, the apostle PAul wrote to us after Acts in Ephesians 3:1-8 and PAul prays we would be strong in Ephesians 3:16 “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”. To be strong and wise with scripture, you must see and understand that Paul had two ministries, one to the Jew, and the other to the Gentile that changed after Acts 28. It is this understanding that the scriptures will open up to you in a way that provides clarity! We must turn to PAul, to receive our wisdom and increase our strength in scripture so we may be a vessel God can use to help others see this truth.

The scripture reading was from Ephesians 1:1-9 “1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to youward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. 8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”
