Treasures New & Old - #19 Who shall ascend the Hill of the Lord? (4-14-2024)

Treasures, both from the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
Matthew 13:52 Ampc: He said to them, Therefore every teacher and interpreter of the Sacred Writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new and [treasure that is] old [the fresh and the familiar].

We all must live our lives submitted to the Lordship of Jesus the Christ. We all must remain sensitive to the convicting, correcting, teaching, and guiding ministry of Holy Spirit in all areas and all relationships touching our day-to-day activities. To be real and fully mature disciples of our Lord and Savior, we must all learn to walk in agape; which is self-sacrificing, self-denying love.
This is how we fulfill the first, second and GREATEST commandments.

Jesus commands us all to deny self, take up your cross, and follow Him.
If you are not denying self, you are denying the Lordship of Jesus.
