Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp corn flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup milk chocolate chunks
Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Sift the all-purpose flour, corn flour, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the melted butter, caster sugar and brown sugar together until no brown sugar lumps remain.
4. whisk in the egg and vanilla essence until well combined.
5. Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Stir in the chocolate chunks until they are evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.
7. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
8. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop out portions of cookie dough onto a parchment lined- baking tray, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
10. Remove the baking tray from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
11. Once cooled, enjoy your soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
