Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee etched his name in history books as he hit six sixes in an over in a T20I against Qatar in the ongoing ACC premier Cup 2024. He is now the third cricketer after India's Yuvraj Singh and West Indies Kieron Pollard to slam six sixes in an over in T20Is. He is also the first ever cricketer to hit six sixes in six consecutive balls in T20Is twice. At the Asian Games 2023, Airee also smashed 6 successive sixes in a game against Mongolia, although the feat came over two different overs.

Coming to bat at No. 5, Airee scored 64* off 21 balls with his innings including seven sixes and three fours. The over in which he hit six sixes came against Kamran Khan. Nepal reached 210/7 in 20 overs against Qatar, who struggled with the bat too.
