Hotel Tour of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Tonawanda, New York

Recorded 4/7/24 - 4/9/24. This hotel was the place I stayed at during our solar eclipse trip to Buffalo last year. We were looking at hotels as early as April 2023 but couldn't book a room at any hotel. We checked again in June 2023, and hotel rooms were selling out fast, like concert tickets. Eventually, we came to this hotel that could provide most of what we needed for our trip. We wanted the Staybridge Suites, but that didn't work out, and we have always liked Holiday Inn Express hotels. The stay ended up being $292 per night. Remember that the solar eclipse was bringing over one million people to the area, and hotels were selling out super quickly, so the price was so high. This was the rate we got in June 2023. If we waited any longer, this trip wouldn't have happened! The rates for the weekend we were at rose to nearly $500 per night by the time the week before hit. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel! The only complaint was that the heat/air conditioning system did not work throughout our stay, so no airflow went through our room. Besides that, the hotel was clean, and the staff and amenities were also great. More to see in this video. Enjoy!
