Most of our kids and even ourselves have tried eating ice in our life. When kids feel hot and bored, they eat ice. Simple as that. Everywhere in the world, people put ice in their drinks to make them cooler and it is a normal thing. But what if your toddler is an expert at reaching ice in very high areas in the refrigerator? What would you do?

This little guy is surprisingly enterprising. He likes ice from the refrigerator but is not quite tall enough to reach it himself. So, he finds a spatula, which we are not certain how he was able to obtain it. Using the spatula, the little boy is able to hit the fridge’s lever for the ice. A piece shoots out of the fridge and skitters across the floor.

The little boy chases the ice and picks it up throwing the spatula and his toothbrush to the floor. His mom worries about what they’re going to do now that the boy has discovered a way to get himself ice cubes. He is such a smart boy. He definitely knows how to get whatever he wants.

Although it looks cute and delicious, eating ice is not a good habit for kids to grow. Craving for ice could be a sign of iron deficiency. If your kid is going wild about ice, maybe you should run some iron tests just to be sure. And if everything is fine, let the kid refresh as the way it wants.
