As Jersey Shore beach season approaches, a recent report from the Clean Ocean Action environmental group highlights the eclectic array of items found littering the sands of New Jersey’s coastline.

Nearly 3,700 volunteers collected over 176,000 items last year, ranging from commonplace debris like bottle caps and cigarette butts to more peculiar discoveries such as a Baby Yoda doll, a severed Barbie head, and even a food fryer.

The report, described as a “guilt list” of the region’s littering habits, underscores the prevalence of plastic waste, which accounted for nearly 80% of the total haul, the Associated Press reported.
