Lulu Bell the hippo, also known as the water fox, is a semi-aquatic mammal that loves the water and spends most of its time in the water. They can eat around 77 pounds of grass in a single night, making them the deadliest large land animal on the planet. Hippos have killed an estimated 500 people a year in Africa due to their aggressive nature, unpredictable nature, and sharp teeth. They can reach top speeds over 24 miles per hour when running on land, making them around the same speed as a moped. Hippos are also victims of ivory poaching, as their teeth are made from harder ivory than elephants. Despite their love for water and webbed feet, they are not the best swimmers. Instead, they sink to the bottom of rivers, galloping through the water. Lulu Bell the hippo is known as a "river horse" for many reasons, but can hold their breath for up to 5 minutes.
