Today We are headed to Palmetto Florida to visit the Old Palmetto Cemetery AKA, The Yellow Fever Cemetery. This historic Cemetery likely started burials around the late 1700's during the height of the yellow fever epidemic that swept through the Eastern coast of the United States between 1793 and 1905. There are 54 marked burials here according to online, 44 according to the historic marker at the entrance of the cemetery and several unmarked graves.
