Stanley Proto & Plomb Tools - Company History & Lore

In this video we go over the history of Proto Industrial Tools.
From their beginnings in a blacksmith shop in Los Angelas as Plomb Tools,
to their lawsuit with Plumb over hammers and the rebranding to Proto,
to Protomex in Mexico, which spun off into Urrea Herramientas,
to acquisitions by Ingersol Rand, and finally by Stanley,
Proto has been making PROfessional TOols for over 100 years.
