Pooh Shiesty has shown off his latest transformation in some new prison photos, and is almost unrecognizable.

Pooh Shiesty Shows Off New Look in Latest Prison Photos
Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to five years in prison back in 2022, and it seems that the 1017 signee's time behind bars has led to some changes in his physical appearance. In the latest photos Shiesty shared to Instagram on Monday (Sept. 11), he is seen sporting a freshly trimmed beard and some new muscle. He also flexed his wealth in his caption by claiming he ordered "2 Ferraris off a jail call." He called for his freedom from behind bars, too.

"Just orderd 2 ferrari's off a jail call im real rich, make sure you make ha cover my name up before you keep the b***h #TheWaitIsOver #TheKingIsBack! #FreeTheBiggest" Pooh Shiesty wrote.

Pooh Shiesty Has Shared Prison Photos Numerous Times Before
Photos of the Memphis rapper have leaked online numerous times before, with the first photo dating back to March of 2022, when he was seen posing with some fellow inmates with sweats on. Another photo of Pooh Shiesty's new look leaked online in August of that year, where he was seen sporting some new glasses. Shiesty then shared more photos to his Instagram in February of 2023, writing in the caption that he "went in Pooh came out King Shiesty."

Why Is Pooh Shiesty in Prison?
A Florida judge sentenced Pooh Shiesty to 63 months in prison last April for his role in a 2020 robbery. Shiesty had previously pleaded guilty to a single firearms conspiracy charge in January of that year and was able to avoid life in prison after prosecutors threw out three charges from his indictment.

The federal charge stemmed from an October of 2020 shooting in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida where Shiesty allegedly shot an individual in the buttocks after he and two others robbed a victim following a meet-up for marijuana and sneakers. In a filing from March of 2022, Shiesty’s defense lawyer, Brad Cohen, claimed his client would never have committed a robbery considering his success as an artist. Ultimately, the Florida judge ruled otherwise.

Fresh off his successful run of features on Dr. Dre's 1992 album, The Chronic, Snoop Dogg was considered one of hip-hop’s best up-and-coming artists. Snoop, born Calvin Brodus, found himself in serious legal trouble while recording his now-iconic debut album, Doggystyle. The Los Angeles native was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in 1993 after McKinley Lee, Snoop's bodyguard, shot and killed a rival gang member.
According to reports, Snoop and his bodyguard, McKinley Lee, were involved in an altercation with a rival gang member, Philip Woldemariam, at Los Angeles' Woodbine Park on Aug. 23, 1993. Lee shot and killed Woldemariam while Snoop was the driver of a Jeep Cherokee vehicle they were in. Snoop claimed the shooting was an act of self-defense.
However, both men were indicted on murder charges, conspiracy and manslaughter. The trial began two years later and lasted three months. It was determined that Lee was acting in self-defense. Both were found not guilty of all charges except a voluntary manslaughter charge, which the jury deadlocked on. Snoop Dogg was acquitted on Feb. 20, 1996.

Boosie Badazz might be known for his raw, uncut style of rap and controversial opinions, but the Baton Rouge, La. native found himself in the courtroom facing accusations of hiring Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding to kill Terry Boyd, a 35-year-old man who was shot and killed in 2009.
In the initial story, Louding, the alleged shooter, said he was ordered by Boosie to murder Boyd. Louding shot Boyd through a window of a home, and confessed that the rapper paid him $2,800 for the hit job. However, Louding later changed his testimony at the 2012 trial, claiming detectives forced him into making a false confession. He retracted his previous statement and informed the jurors that neither he nor Boosie had any involvement in the killing of Boyd.
The prosecution called nearly 30 witnesses during the trial, seeking a life sentence for Boosie. "I never killed Terry Boyd," Louding answered. "And Mr. Hatch [Boosie] never paid me to kill Terry Boyd." After six days of testimony and only one hour of deliberation from the jury, the rhymer was acquitted of first-degree murder. However, Boosie was already serving a sentence at Angola correctional facility for a drug charge. He spent 52 months in prison for that case. Louding was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Tupac Shakur is widely regarded as one of the greatest artists to ever live. He was prolific, educated and poetic both on and off the mic. Before 1993, ’Pac had a nearly clean record with law enforcement. He managed to avoid scandals, except for a 1991 jaywalking case, which resulted in police unnecessarily throwing the West Coast MC to the ground. Tupac was able to settle out of court for a reported $42,000. He also faced a wrongful death lawsuit for the 1992 killing of a 6-year-old boy, which was also settled out of court in 1995.
However, in 1993, following Tupac's second album, Strictly 4 My N***A.Z…, the legal issues began stacking for the late rapper. From a felonious assault misdemeanor in April of 1993 to a concealed weapons case later in 1994, Tupac was a consistent headline for run-ins with the police. On Halloween in 1993, Tupac tried to stop two White off-duty cops, brothers Mark Whitwell and Scott Whitwell, from harassing a Black driver in Atlanta. Both men were found to be drunk and high. According to reports, a heated altercation ensued, with one of the officers brandishing their gun. Tupac fired his own gun in self-defense, sending both officers to the hospital. He struck one in the buttocks and one in the abdomen.
While the initial story painted Tupac as the aggressor, further evidence, such as the officers' being intoxicated and both men carrying stolen guns, revealed the West Coast rhymer was actually the retaliator. This evidence led to the dismissal of all charges against the rapper.
Following the case, Tupac faced further legal troubles in November of 1993, when he and two other men faced sodomy charges. Ayanna Jackson claimed she and Tupac had consensual sex on a separate occasion, but on this particular night, she was allegedly raped by two other men in the presence of the rapper. On Dec. 1, 1994, Shakur was acquitted of three sodomy charges and associated gun charges. However, the rapper was found guilty of two counts of first-degree sexual abuse for forcing contact with her buttocks. Jurors cited a lack of evidence for the sodomy conviction.

Gucci Mane's intense rap feud with Jeezy is well-documented. At one point, they engaged is what is regarded as the most disrespectful Verzuz battles in the program's history. Looking back at their feud, this rivalry began when Jeezy and Gucci Mane recorded their first collaboration, "Icy," in 2005.The song went on Gucci's first album, Trap House, instead of Jeezy's first album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Over a few months, the two artists would exchange diss tracks with one another. Jeezy allegedly placing a $10,000 bounty on Gucci Mane's chain. However, their beef would come to the forefront on May 10, 2005, following the murder of Henry Lee Clark III, known as Pookie Loc, who was an associate of Young Jeezy.
Pookie Loc was shot and killed by Gucci Mane following the victim allegedly attacking Gucci at a home in Decatur, Ga. Gucci Mane would turn himself in to authorities in the following days, stating that he acted in self-defense. He served nine months in jail before attending trial, where he admitted to shooting his attacker but maintained that he acted in self-defense. Gucci was acquitted on Jan. 17, 2006, due to eyewitness reports backing his self-defense claim. This left prosecutors no evidence for a murder case. Nine months after being charged with murder, Gucci Mane was found not guilty.

Before Diddy was literally running the city of New York, he was running the city alongside then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. Back on Dec. 28, 1999, a visit to a nightclub turned their relationship into a tabloid mainstay. The couple, alongside Shyne and several others, were involved in a New York nightclub altercation, which turned deadly. Three people were shot. Diddy, Lopez and their entourage were arrested.
According to reports, the altercation began when the Bad Boy Records CEO bumped Matthew "Scar" Allen and spilled his drink, which caused an argument. Allen allegedly hit Diddy with a wad of money. The situation turned deadly when Shyne pulled out a gun and shot three innocent bystanders while aiming for Allen.
Police discovered a stolen gun in Diddy's vehicle after he and company attempted to flee the scene, but were stopped in their vehicle mere blocks away. Jennifer Lopez was released from police custody. However, Diddy was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He went to trial in 2001, which lasted two months. Diddy was acquitted after enlisting the help of former O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Johnnie Cochran, who proved Diddy's lack of involvement in the shooting.
Shyne was acquitted of attempted murder, but was found guilty of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. He spent eight years in prison and was released in 2009. Shyne was deported to Belize after his incarceration.

Freddie Gibbs found himself in trouble overseas after being arrested by French police in 2016. He was taken into custody prior to a performance during the European leg of his Shadow of a Doubt Tour. Gibbs' arrest happened under claims that HE raped a woman while on tour in Vienna, Austria, in July of 2015. Gibbs was bailed out two weeks after his arrest. However, he still faced a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
Gibbs admitted that he and his friends met two women—aged 16 and 17 at the time (Austria's age of consent is 14, so, legally, they were not underage)—backstage after the show and brought them to hang out in one of their rooms at their hotel. The next morning, the women reported to police they had been sexually abused by an unnamed friend in the rapper's entourage. Ten months later, in May of 2016, Gibbs was accused by the 17-year-old alleged victim of sexual abuse after she told authorities she remembered Gibbs had sex with her the night of the incident.
Austrian newspaper Kurier reported that Gibbs and his friend allegedly took advantage of the two women after their drinks were possibly spiked backstage by someone at the show. While Gibbs denied the allegations, video evidence led to the rapper's acquittal. Surveillance footage captured the alleged victims before and after the alleged incidents, which helped to eliminate their inebriation claims. While Gibbs spent four months in French and Austrian jails, on Sept. 30, 2016, the Austrian court acquitted Gibbs on all sexual-assault charges.

What began as a routine traffic stop on March 22, 2021, turned into a high-speed pursuit with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a 2020 gun possession incident in Louisiana. He found himself weaving through the neighborhood of Tarzana in California as he attempted to flee police. After a brief pursuit, police arrested the rapper and discovered a pistol with ammunition, cash and jewelry. This situation posed a problem for NBA, as he had been previously convicted in 2017 of aggravated assault with a firearm, receiving a suspended 10-year prison sentence and probation due to his involvement in a nonfatal drive-by shooting that had originally charged him with attempted first-degree murder.
As a result of the prior arrest, this prohibited the rapper from possessing the weapon found in his vehicle. This charge would have given him up to 10 years in prison if convicted. At the trial, prosecutors attempted to establish a connection between the rapper and the weapon through photos and video from his social media accounts. However, NBA's lawyers argued NBA was unaware of the outstanding federal warrant and unaware of the weapon in the car, as there were no usable fingerprints or DNA linking the rapper to the weapon. On July 15, 2022, YoungBoy Never Broke Again was found not guilty of all charges.

Lil Mosey Faces Life in Prison
Lil Mosey was accused of rape stemming from an incident that occurred on Jan. 6, 2020. Mosey, along with a friend named Band Kid Jay, were accused of raping a woman while she was incapable of consenting due to intoxication. The alleged rape occurred at a cabin in Washington. Mosey was charged with rape in April of 2021, though the alleged rape happened over a year prior.
The alleged victim went to a cabin to see Mosey, and she agreed to have sex with him. However, things went off course as the victim claimed to be incoherent, allegedly waking up to find the other man, Band Kid Jay, on top of her. As a result of this incident, the courts issued Lil Mosey a restraining order to stay 500 feet away from his accuser, turn in any firearms he may have and maintain total sobriety.
Lil Mosey, who passed multiple polygraph tests before the trial, maintained his innocence. He pleaded not guilty to the rape charge. Following a two-year investigation, Lil Mosey and Band Kid Jay were acquitted of the second-degree rape charges on March 3, 2023.

Hurricane Chris became a major talking point on social media in 2020, after the rapper fatally shot a man at a Texaco gas station in Shreveport, La. According to reports, on June 19, 2020, officers arrived at the scene and found a man shot multiple times. Hurricane Chris told police he believed the man was attempting to rob him when the man opened the door to the 2016 Mercedes-Benz the rapper was driving. Coincidentally, the car was previously reported stolen in Texas. The rapper was initially released from jail on a $500,000 bond following his arrest.
However, he was indicted in October of 2020 over his suspected connection with the fatal shooting and charged with second-degree murder and possession of stolen items. If found guilty, the rapper would have faced life in prison. Chris’ attorneys claimed he acted in self-defense. On March 14, 2023, the jury agreed with this defense attorney, acquitting the rapper on both charges.

In an infamous moment in hip-hop history, the New York offices of record company Murder Inc. were raided by the FBI on Jan. 3, 2003. Documents, hard drives and other items were confiscated in the search as a result of the record label's connection to former drug kingpin Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. It was alleged the label was part of a crack and heroin business run by McGriff and sustained by killing people who threatened the operation.
The ongoing investigation led Murder Inc. to rebrand as the Inc. at the end of 2003. Two years later, on Jan. 26, 2005, the Inc. CEO Irv Gotti and his brother Chris were arrested for money laundering due to their connection with alleged financial transactions associated with McGriff. According to the reports, prosecutors alleged that the brothers used the Murder Inc. record label to launder $1 million in drug proceeds. The brothers faced 20 years prison for this alleged criminal activity.
Irv and Chris maintained their innocence, citing they had no involvement in their accused crimes. Irv's lawyer said the label was financed through cash from Island Def Jam. Both Irv and Chris were found not guilty after two days of deliberation on Dec. 2, 2005. The brothers, along with the Inc. label were acquitted. The prosecution failed to present sufficient credible evidence linking them to any criminal activity.

Beat Part of Case - YNW Melly Double-Murder Trial
YNW Melly's double-murder case, centered on the 2018 shooting deaths of two of the rapper's friends, YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, is the most recent case in which an artist beat an alleged crime. But in this case, Melly only beat part of his trial.
According to reports, after a recording session in 2018, Melly, Sakchaser, Juvy and YNW Bortlen were riding in a Jeep driven by the latter. Melly was accused of shooting and killing Sakchaser and Juvy in the vehicle. However, defense attorneys assert that Melly was at home sleeping during the time of the murders and place the blame on Henry for the killings. But prosecutors contend that the shooting was part of a gang-related activity with Melly at the helm.
The murder charges under Florida law means Melly faces the death penalty if convicted. The trial began on June 12 after jury selection occurred in April. After over a month of prosecution and defense arguments, a mistrial was declared by the judge on July 22 after the jury could not agree on whether or not YNW Melly was guilty. This was determined after three days of deadlock from the jury. Due to the case ending in a mistrial, the state has begun seeking a retrial, with jury selection set to being on Oct. 9. Bortlen, who was arrested as an accomplice for the alleged crime, will face a separate trial on Oct. 2.
