A pontoon bridge along with people was carried away by the current in a village in the Kemerovo region - local media.
In the area of the village of Maizas, an ice drift tore down a pontoon bridge along with people. The bridge structure was washed away from its location by the strong current of the Tom River.
Flood situation in Russian regions on April 11, 2024:
— the water level in the Ural River near Orenburg has already risen to 1060 cm (the critical level has been exceeded by 130 cm). More than 3.6 thousand households were flooded in the city;

— The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered a batch of humanitarian aid for residents of the Orenburg region, including food, water, personal hygiene products, medicines, blankets and rubber boots;

— another board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered 4 km of prefabricated dams to the Tyumen region (they are needed to prevent flooding of territories;

— in Kurgan, the level in the Tobol River increased by 8 cm overnight (to 383 cm), and near the Kurgan village of Zverinogolovskoye it exceeded 1 m;

— in Orsk another 14 cm of water has gone within 24 hours, the situation continues to stabilize.
