Alaska is renowned for its diverse and numerous wildlife species. The state is home to some of the largest land carnivores, including grizzly bears, polar bears, and more. Its diverse bird population makes it a popular destination for birdwatchers, while its miles of shoreline provide habitat for abundant marine life. From large mammals like moose, dall sheep, and mountain goats, to smaller creatures like mink, muskox, and arctic foxes, visitors are treated to a wildlife spectacle like no other. I have spent countless hours in the field observing and photographing these incredible animals, and it is an experience like no other. Some of the wildlife favorites in Alaska include bears, arctic foxes, sea otters, whales, wolves, and more.
