The Director of the failed MCU movie, The Marvels, is in talks to direct the second part for the movie 28 Years Later. This movie will be a follow-up to the 2007 horror film 28 Weeks Later.

Prior to directing The Marvels Nia DaCosta was know for directing the 2021 film Candyman, that movie also a follow-up to a famous horror movie from the past. Since then, she is responsible for helming Disney’s massive failure that shattered Marvel’s indestructible illusion. To this Disney CEO Bob Iger blamed DaCosta for the movie’s failure saying they didn’t hold her hand enough throughout the process.
