Holy Quran - Sura 83, Al-Mutaffifin (The Defrauding) - Recitation by Al-Afasi

Surah Al-Mutaffifin is the 83rd surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means Default in Duty. It has 36 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Makkah i.e., before Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah can be found in juz / paara 30.

Introduction:

This Meccan sûrah begins with a warning to those who defraud scales about the horrible Day ahead, where the wicked will be severely punished and the virtuous will be richly rewarded. The sûrah closes by stating that the disbelievers will be paid back for making fun of the believers.
